Omnidirectional, Snappy Scanning
Built with highly sensitive image sensor, the scan engines MT684 not only automatically captures any moving barcode at close range, but also delivers omnidirectional scanning in any direction, eliminating the need to align the barcode. As a result, lines are kept moving and wait time is minimized.


Large Field of View
With the largest field of view, 68° horizontal degrees, and 50° of vertical degrees of wide scan angle, MT684 2D scan engine is capable of scanning the widest barcode from nearly contact to 180mm away. As a result, MT684 is suitable to be integrated into device with very limited reading distance in a constraint space.


Easy and Flexible Operations
MT684 embedded scan engine enhances design flexibility by offering various output interfaces with USB HID, USB VCP, and UART, fulfilling diverse industrial needs of communication methods as well as enabling users to easily configure the reading modes and scanner settings according to preference.


Mobile-Friendly Scanning
With enhanced optical design and the latest decode algorithm, MT684 scan engine virtually scan all 1D and 2D barcodes printed on any surface, either paper-based label with matte or glossy surface or mobile phone display and LCD screen. As a result, users may expand their business into many new applications such as eCoupon, eTicket, Digital ID cards, and mobile payments.
