In recent years, enterprise digital transformation has continued to deepen, with data collection shifting from traditional fixed equipment to real-time mobile processing. From retail stores, logistics warehouses, and manufacturing sites to field services, frontline personnel not only need mobile devices with internet connectivity and computing capabilities but also need to quickly and accurately obtain physical data and integrate it with existing systems to improve operational efficiency.Marson Technology points out that in the past, enterprises had to separately configure barcode scanners, RFID handheld terminals, and mobile computers for different application scenarios, increasing the burden on equipment management, training, and workflow integration. With the increasing maturity of smartphone computing power, network, and app applications, smartphones have gradually become an important platform for enterprise mobile data collection in recent years. Modular devices can extend enterprise-level identification capabilities such as barcodes or RFID.

The MTB24 mobile phone scanner uses a USB Type-C magnetic design to connect to smartphones, supports 1D and 2D barcodes, and features ScanKey screen triggering. Users can scan directly through a mobile app, reducing the need for frontline staff to carry additional dedicated terminals and allowing data collection to be more integrated into existing workflows.

As application needs expand from single barcodes to the identification of large numbers of items and assets, the MTR30 smartphone UHF reader connects to Android phones via USB Type-C magnetic connection, introducing UHF data collection capabilities. Combined with a circularly polarized antenna and ScanKey screen triggering, it further supports mobile RFID applications.

Marson Technology stated that the data collection market has expanded beyond scanning speed and reading distance to integrate into enterprise digital workflows. Combining barcodes and RFID with smartphones not only results in lighter equipment but also creates a more flexible mobile data collection model, helping enterprises to grasp accurate data in real time and promote the implementation of digital transformation.
